Odd black

If you've seen me, you know I love to wear muted colors.  You'll rarely find my wearing a neon yellow shirt or jeans.  I like mustard :)  You can guarantee to see me wearing black, black, black, and more black!  It's such a lovely color.  It speaks and symbolizes many things.  Darkness, loneliness, quietness, strength, chic, sexy--to name a few.

Honestly, I don't think I've done my best.  The week just went too darn fast.  I like them... but not enough?  Since our next challenge is brown, I think I can do this!  I have some ideas to execute to make up for this week's lack of creativity!

I really like my partner's interpretation of black.  Check them out: Jackie, Jean, Ellie, and Allison! A go go go!

Gray Wind Chimes

After a long day of school and studying, I came home standing underneath a dark wind chime.  These tubes suspended in the air, played by gusting wind, give off a magical tune so when I raised my head up to see our wind chime slowly swaying without sound, I felt a bit weak inside.

Although I captured pretty dark pieces, Jackie, Jean, Ellie, and Allison might be able to show you a brighter side to gray.  Join us!

Back to purple

I graduated high school with purple pride and currently enrolled in college with purple as it is the school color.  I am neutral about this shade.  The only time I rock purple is when it's my lazy day so I wear my high school centaur shirt.  When I think I purple, I am reminded of my teenage years and then my mom because her favorite color is... guess--purple!  And so my sister, who looks strikingly like my mom back in her young days, and my high school grounds represents this challenge for me.

I'm one of the few people who start school late.  That's right!  My first day of class is Thursday!!  Instead of moping at home, I went to Bubbles and my brother's college in hopes of taking photos for this challenge.  I felt nervous and creepish taking photos of the students on campus so I didn't photograph any person at all. (Fail)  Then, as I sat alone by myself I found a flower recently watered, slouching on the marble wall. It's almost sad but radiates with light.

These lovely photographers have more to show you; Jackie, Jean, Ellie, and Allison <3

Tennis

While my sister and I were waiting for her two friends to join her on the court, I wanted to test out the lighting by playing with different white balances. I tend to shoot around evening so to find my sweet spot today under harsh sunlight is pretty neat!

Pink Fair

I'm late in posting this us but I have a good explanation! (Just got home.)  Which I will explain after I take my 7 hour sleep :)  If you can guess, I went to the State Fair today!  Exciting things happened today and I cannot wait to share my adventure with you.

This time, I wanted to tell a story about what the color feels like to me.  The State Fair is a welcoming place filled with family, friends, people all wanting to share and create memories with their loved ones.  This is the place where I found love, fun, innocence, and warmth from pink.

So many highlights to share tomorrow about State Fair! I wonder how Jackie, Jean, Ellie, and Allison connected to pink...

A boy, his friends, his drawings, and a little garden

Dedicated to my adorable, loving, honest, annoying, crazy brother, BRUCE.  My one model who isn't afraid to be himself in front of the camera.
